I have been interested in technology ever since I was a kid. I used to try to crack into my sister's Radio Shack Tandy computer when I was a younger. In that moment a geek was born. I've messed around with every iteration of Windows; from 3.1 to Windows 10 today. My dad would get crazy when I'd mess with the system files for Windows and always break his PC, and then promply fix it right after.
I'm one of those rare folks that loves sports and everything tech. I've been playing "the beautiful game" soccer ever since I was 4 years old. No one on the team wanted to play goalie when I was a youngster, so I took the job and I played it like a linebacker. I played NCAA Div 2 Soccer, with full scholarship, in Illinois and moved up the ranks to Semi-Pro. After several too many injuries (playing keeper is tough on your body) I've been full force into technology.
My wife and I moved back to Utah in 2004. I completed my Computer Science education at Neumont College of Computer Science. I've been engineering for just over 11 years now and have loved every minute. I really do love programming and frequently practice in my off time working on new skills. I've worked for big enterprise companies and unbelievable unicorn startups. Mindfire is by far the most amazing team that I've had the honor of working and growing with.
